This morning with the help of a fabulous team of volunteers we hung 48 of Doreen Speckmann’s quilts at The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show here in Madison, WI. These are just a few teaser pics. Come check them out Thursday 9/8/22 through Saturday 9/10/22! I’ll be at the show for a little bit everyday, but will be doing an interview for a live stream on PBS Saturday morning at 10AM if you want to stop and say hi.
It’s hard to choose my favorite quilt that my mom made (besides Silky of course), but Flashback: Peaky and Spike go to Haight Ashbury, Magpie Roadkill and Cross Street Pasture (peaking out on the right) are my top three faves.
Here’s one last preview pic. I used to really hate the quilt on the far left when I was a kid, and now I love it. Hope to see you at the show!
